Game 6: Clevinger vs. Stroman in Philly
Swanson - playing 2B this series even though he has literally never played 2B in the majors
(yay ZiPS!) - smokes 3-run homer in the 2nd inning. Astros get 2 back on Donaldson HR in
the 4th. Swanson homers again in the 7th!
Nick Anderson fans 5 in the 7th/8th innings for his 3rd series hold. Yates closes the 4-2 win.
Congrats to Chris on a great season and thanks for hosting. This series was tight except for
one historic game.
Astros hit .240 with 10 HR and 36 runs in the series. They allowed 19 ER. Houser allowed 14
himself.
Phillies also hit .240 with 9 HR … but only 22 runs.
Haniger hit .500 with 6 extra-base hits but Swanson, batting eighth and no lock for the roster,
was key with 3 HR, 10 RBI. Bieber went 2-0 with 0.63 ERA, 19 K in 14.1 IP. Nick Anderson and
