Game 4: Bumgarner vs. Colon
What do you get when Seattle faces a lefty, and Montreal faces a 42-year-old
strike-thrower? Offense! Well, some. This was a back-and-forth game. The Mariners came
back to tie the score up twice, but that was before the Expos bullpen once again took
over. Mike Trout hit his third HR of the series, and Josh Collmenter picked up the win
in relief. The Seattle offense managed 9 baserunners in 4.2 innings from Bumgarner,
but just a single baserunner in the remaining 4.1 innings. Expos 6, Mariners 4. Series
tied 2-2.
