Game 5: COL Scherzer at NYM Leake
Leake atoned for his Game 1 performance with 6 2/3 shutout innings. Strickland and
Manship closed it out for the Mets, silencing a Rockies offense that had posted 33
runs in four games. The only scoring here came on a two-run homer by Mark Canha in
the third inning off Scherzer (6 1/3 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 6 K), but that was enough for
New York to go up 3-2 in the series. NYM 2, COL 0
