Red Sox jump out to 2-0 lead through five innings on RBI singles by Skip Schumaker and
Ryan Ludwick, but the Twins answer back with Ben Zobrist's 3-run homer off Javier
Vazquez. They add a run in the seventh when Howard Kendrick leads off with a triple and
comes home on a fielder choice when he beats Alcides Escobar's throw. That was all the
scoring, as Felix Hernandez goes 7 1/3 for the victory. Greg Holland closed it out.
